Hi my dog has fleas and my house is infested. We have treated the dog and treated the house on our own with a spray. We sprayed all of our hardwood floors. I needed to know if fleas live in clothes, so in part of my treatment should I wash all of them? And do they live in beds? If yes how do I rid them of my mattress? I am the only one in the house getting bit my husband isn’t. Our big issue is also that we are moving in 4 weeks and we are not bringing the dog,but we want to make sure we don’t bring the fleas. Will fleas move with us when we pack our things? We are only bringing the bed, clothes, & electronics? If yes should we pre-treat the new house before moving to be proactive? Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance for your help.
ive been getting bit by what i thought were mosquitos throughout the night but last night i found a flea and i searched my bed and i found about 5 in the corner. i removed my bedding and washed it in hot water and still found some on the floor when i swept. we got rid of the dog a week ago, the dog came in my room once a week but yet my room seems to be the only one with the issue. the house is all wooden flooring and i dont know what to do im 32 weeks pregnant and i read that i have to find the issue but i dont know what it can be. i live in an apartment complex. im freaking out horribly if you could give me a cure for this id greatly appreciate it.
I am looking at the First Defense product to help us deal with a flea problem. Our house is mostly hardwood floors, but we also have wall-to-wall carpets and rugs, including oriental rugs. I’d like to know whether the product can cause any damage to carpets or rugs, and whether it will leave any visible trace or residue on any of them, including ones with dark colors. Also, can you tell me whether the product lasts as long on woven rugs, which are not as thick and don’t have the same texture.
